NebKon Abridged started out as a goodbye to the Ramada/CoCo Keys Water Park in 2021 with board games, dance party and drinking.and has evolved into a 2 day event of board games, epic dance party, party rooms, burlesque, guests panels and fan run paneling.

Our parent organization is the Nebraska Japanese Animation Society (NJAS), which grew from a fundraiser at UNL which is the humble beginnings of Anime NebrasKon which moved from UNL to Omaha in 2009 at the Ramada (which was a Holiday Inn at that time).
